My name is Fiona!

This shy youngster I have named Fiona. She is a Lab/Retriever mix that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter as a stray on 6/21. She is approximately 6 months old and weighs 26 pounds. She tugged at my heartstrings as I interacted with her and observed her timid and uneasy behavior as well as her too-thin frame with her ribs showing. She does walk on a leash but somewhat hesitantly. She is a bit timid but is lively and active. She does not have the over-the-top energy level that some of our puppies have. She has a very sweet nature and will receive loving attention. She was not interested in toys or balls, but found the soft cushy doggy bed in the room and settled in... so much more comfortable than the floor in her kennel.
