My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the beautiful, bold eyed, Sushi. Sushi is a reserved cat looking for a calm and quiet forever home. Initially scared and anxious after losing her home and feline siblings, she slowly blossomed in her foster home, finding comfort in her new space. She's a great bird watching companion and curiously enjoys watching the world outside, often falling asleep peacefully on the windowsill, and eating beside you at dinner time. She needs a patient, understanding home where she can feel safe and continue to build trust.

She just came back from her loving foster and is ready to find her perfect match! She is slowly opening up with her caretakers at the shelter!

Will you take a chance on a timid black cat?

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
