Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Calling all adventure lovers! Peyton Manning is ready for adoption at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA. This big guy is ready for anything! Hiking, camping, lazy days? This guy is here for all of it. He loves other dogs, loves every single person he meets, and even doesn't mind cats! If you're ready for your perfect companion, come to the shelter and meet Peyton! He recently went to foster over the 4th of July and his foster had this to say about him! "We have sweet Peyton. He kids along with my 4 boys and we have a great pyrenees, who is 3 years old.He loves the water and likes to dunk his head in the water. Super friendly when we took him to the 4th of July parade."

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
