Meet Blue Boy – Your Loyal, Gentle Companion!

Hi, I’m Blue Boy! I’m a sweet, friendly guy who loves cuddles, car rides, and soaking up the sun with my people. I’m house-trained, crate-trained, and know commands like “sit,” “shake,” and “drop it.” My leash manners are great, and I adore nature hikes!

At home, I’m calm and well-mannered – I don’t bother with things that aren’t mine and love being brushed and pampered. I bond quickly and will nudge you for pets or flash my signature grin when I’m feeling playful. I recently played well with a doggy pal here at the shelter and enjoyed romping around with him in the play yard!

Additional adoption info

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
