My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Charlie - a goofball 1-year-old in need of a loving home! This energetic boy is full of life and ready to bring joy to your family. Charlie is a good boy who is looking for a place to run and play, so a home with room to roam would be perfect for him. With a proper introduction, he should get along well with other dogs and dog savvy cats. Are you ready to open your heart and home to this fun-loving canine companion?

If you're interested in adopting Charlie, please come by the shelter today to learn more about this sweet pup and how you can make him a part of your family. Let's give Charlie the forever home he deserves!

More about this rescue

Established in 1982, We Care Animal Rescue is a no-kill sanctuary and shelter for homeless animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Our residents live and roam freely in communal spaces with safe access to the outdoors.

Our staff ensures animals receive daily socialization, enrichment activities, and veterinary care — particularly the elderly and those with special needs. We provide a forever home for all our animals, either through adoption to the public or with us in our sanctuary.
