Hello! Iandamp;#39;m Dunbar! andlt;br/andgt;My journey started when some kind people heard about a stray puppy with a chain around its neck. That was me. A kind woman had tried to feed me near her momandamp;#39;s house, but I was too scared and ran away. She told the rescuers where she last saw me, near a park.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;The rescuers talked to a city worker who had heard about me but hadnandamp;#39;t seen me himself. They didnandamp;#39;t give up and kept looking for me. They drove around the upper edge of the park and found a wire crate in the woods. I was hiding in a tire next to it when they found me.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;They carefully backed up their van and managed to secure me. When we arrived at the shelter, they assessed my injuries. The chain around my neck had been so heavy that it had embedded into my skin, leaving wounds shaped like chain links. Even though I was hurt, I tried my best to be friendly and patient during the assessment.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Now, Iandamp;#39;m healing and dreaming of a loving home where I can finally feel safe and happy. I may have had a rough start, but Iandamp;#39;m ready to bring joy and companionship to a family who will love me forever. Could that be you?
