Hi, I'm Nesme, but you can call me Nala like my foster family.

I'm a sweet, gentle girl with a heart full of love for everyone I meet!

I absolutely adore children and their laughter fills me with joy. I also love hanging out with my fellow canine pals. We have so much fun together!

Walks? Oh, I love them! I'm a pro at walking on a leash too. I look forward to daily walks, exploring the world one sniff at a time.

I’ve been working hard to master basic commands. I've been told I’m doing great! Treats are the perfect motivation to help me learn.

My foster family is wonderful, but I dream about finding my forever home. A place where I can give and receive love unconditionally with people I can bring happiness while we make unforgettable memories.

Additional adoption info

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

Go meet their pets

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
