My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beauty was born here on 5-7-24 and still has not found his furever family. He is around 30 pounds and it doesn't appear that he will get much larger. This boy has a loving and playful temperament. He is an active guy and loves other dogs. He has never been around a cat at the rescue so we can't comment to that but there doesn't appear to be a mean bone in his body. He is doing well with leash training but will need house training as all new puppies do. He is current on medical, flea and heartworm prevention for his age. He would be a great addition to any active family as we think he will do well with children too. Won't you come for a visit and give this sweetie a chance. Just because he is black doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a great, loving family. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit an application at Richardsonrescue.org.

We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
