My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Silas was born here on 5-7-24 and is another baby that hasn't had a visit or a chance at a "furever" family up to this point. This guy is very lovable and totally enjoys playing fetch and only weighs in at around 35 pounds so, he will not be a large boy. He is great with other dogs but does have high play energy and another dog in the home would need to match. However, he is submissive with other dogs if it comes to that. Silas is a puppy and will need all the training that comes along with a puppy such as leash training and house training. This boy has a gentle temperament and we think he would be great with children. So, any active family with room for him to run should work for this guy. He is up to date medically for his age and current on flea/heartworm prevention. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at Richardsonrescue.org.

We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
