My name is Cooper!

Cooper is a four year old (will be five October 14th) pure bread silver lab. He is usually a very sweet boy. He is not other pet friendly and is protective of his food.

He needs to be with a couple who does not have any other pets or children.
He needs to be with someone who has the time and patience to work with him on discipline. Or, someone who has the resources to have him trained. Unfortunately, we have been put in a position where we cannot afford to have him trained or fixed. He does pretty good on a gentle leader, and with more practice, I think he will do much better. Walking him with just his harness on is near impossible, unless you are extremely strong and very patient.

We are really hoping we can find someone to give him a loving home. We are trying every avenue we can to find someone for him without taking him to a shelter. We need to find someone soon.
