Meet this happy, expressive pup who has been thriving in his foster home! He’s settled in quickly, and adjusted very well. While he might whine a little in his kennel, he’s getting along great with the other dogs in the house. One of his most charming traits is his unique tail wag—he wags it up and down instead of side to side, which always makes us smile! When he`s excited, his whole body leaps off the ground as he runs around, showing just how joyful he truly is. This sweet dog is ready for his forever home—could it be with you?

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
