My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable pup is Atlas. He is 6-months-old and weighs 33 lb so we expect he will be about 60 lb full grown. He is reportedly a Boykin spaniel/ Great Pyrenees mix. Atlas has a very friendly and fun personality. He is in that awkward puppy stage where he is not quite aware of his body yet so he can be a bit clumsy and unsure of himself. Atlas loves human attention and actively seeks them out for comfort. He is food motivated and we expect will be very easy to train. He would benefit from some training focused on confidence building, learning commands and manners. He has a lot of energy and is ready to play and run around. This sweet boy would do well in a home with older children due to his tendency to jump when excited and Atlas would love to have a dog friend to play with. We don't know what Atlas thinks of cats, but can "cat test" him if needed. Atlas is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. His adoption fee is $395. If you would like to meet/adopt Atlas, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms. Email daws@daws.org if you need assistance or have any questions.
