If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Charlotte was adopted from a small local rescue in 2019. Her birthday is 11/21/18 (will turn 6 in November). She is deaf. She is a large, muscular dog, but also very mild-mannered. She has had formal obedience training. I need to re-home her because my elderly mother will be coming to live with me and cannot be trusted to not jump up on her, accidentally trip her, etc. She loves peanut butter or easy cheese lick pads. She could go to a home with other dogs, but would also do great in a single dog home. I would love to see her with an active family, although not required. The family should be prepared that they will have to use more hand gestures for communication and be physically able to handle a large dog.
