My story

ADOPTED - 02/15 per LARION

Benny (Barry's brother, also available for adoption) is a very sweet adorable boy who is estimated to have been born around 01/2013 and weighs a nice size of approximately 32 lbs. We believe he is an Australian shepherd/Border Collie mix and is full of love. When we first rescued him it appeared he had never been in a home environment and was very scared and cautious at first. He is adapting well and learning house rules. He is a little timid of new things, but with love and encouragement, he adjusts accordingly with some time. He has some puppy-like behaviors (chewing) since no one took the time to train him. He is great with kids and is learning how to play ball and Frisbee and he loves it. He has had no prior training, but he is a very quick learner and has already learned how to sit and walk on a leash. He is working on crate training and housetraining and is almost there! He will do best in a home where he gets training, daily exercise, interaction, and lots of love, of course!

If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please fill out our Pre-Adoption Application. The link to this form can be found on the home page of our website, http://dfwpuppatrol.com. It can be submitted via email to info@dfwpuppatrol.com or faxed to 972-767-4849. All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
