Brutus was adopted out of a local animal shelter. The adopter decided he was 'too big' for his small dogs and dumped him. A good Samaritan took him in and he is now in foster care with DFW Pup Patrol Rescue looking for his forever family.
He is a young pup (born around August 2014), and we believe he is a Hound (possibly Treeing Walker) and Boxer mix. Brutus is currently 50 lbs and we expect he will get to be at least 70 to 80 lbs full grown. He is going to be a big boy!
Brutus is housetrained and crate trained. Still being a puppy he will need an attentive owner who will let him out regularly and who has the time and commitment to help him through his puppy phase in life. He does well around children of all ages.
He is a goofball, humble, submissive, and sweet to other dogs, big or small. He loves to play! He hasn't been around a cat; however, we don't think he would be aggressive towards one. Brutus is not food aggressive, has not been destructive with toys, household items, etc.
