My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Isamu. It means brave. My mom says I'm the bravest boy she has ever ever met. She first met me when I came to her eating station to eat with the rest of the street kitties. Unlike them though, I was super friendly and came to sit with her after eating. I eventually decided to jump into her car and I never left her side. My mom decided I was too friendly to be a stray so she fixed, vaccinated and deworm me. My favorite things to do include chirping at the birds, enjoying the sun on my fur, getting scratches on my head and belly and hunting down catnip mice. I enjoy all of these from the comfort of my foster house. I don't miss being outside and so lucky that I am off the streets. I am a big alpha cat so I would better with a kitten or a dog. I can also be an only cat. I think I would be ok with older kids.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
