Kamari in Arabic means moon, or moonlight. 🌙 Even though this young lady is as dark as the night, she will bring daylight ☀️ to your life!
Kamari is a young adult at approximately a year old and is smaller than she looks, 👀 weighing around 26 pounds. She appears to be an American Blue Heeler and shows a lot of the loyal 💗 characteristics that Heelers typically possess. As a matter of fact, Kamari checks a LOT of the boxes:
Notice that Kamari earned extra checks for being kid-friendly? 😀 That’s because she LOVES kids! Although she loves all people, she especially likes to run 🏃♀️ and play with kids that are more her size and energy. This is why we’d prefer she goes to a home with older kids.
Kamari also prefers to play 🎾 with other dogs her size as well. Besides some jealousy when other dogs are getting her attention, she’s friendly with all other dogs. 🐕
Just like the tranquil, night sky ✨ Kamari is near perfect! She is very affectionate and will beg or whimper when she wants pets, hugs and/or cuddles. 🥰 She knows “no” and listens very well to commands. The only thing Kamari needs to work on is some jump training, but if you don’t mind her gentle requests for attention then we could let that slide. 😉
Speaking of night time, Kamari typically sleeps 😴 in her kennel at night. Her kennel is her safe place and she will do some resource guarding if others try to invade her space.
