Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Patty is a very sweet, submissive and gentle girl. She did arrive to the shelter as a stray so it is unknown if she has lived with other animals or children. Patty has not been reactive towards other dogs in the shelter, but can be a little intimidated by them. Especially if the dogs are more active or rambunctious. We can always provide a dog meet and greet prior to adopting if needed! Patty can be submissive when meeting new people or animals. If someone is hovering over her it tends to make her a little nervous and she will lay on the ground. Patty may do well with children, but it will be important for her to take introductions slow and beneficial if the children understand that she is needs slow and soft movements! Patty has been well behaved during her time in the shelter. She appears to be potty trained and loves going outside first thing in the morning. She walks well on a leash and knows a couple basic cues including ` sit` and `down`. Patty has a pretty mellow personality and we imagine her being a couch potato, but she does enjoy short walks! Patty could benefit from losing a couple pounds as well and is hoping a loving owner can help with that! Patty has been a little stressed in the shelter and may have separation anxiety. We do not know if this behavior will follow her into her new home, but regardless she would appreciate an owner who has more time on their hands to spend with her! Patty is a people pleaser and wants nothing more than to share her love. If you feel your home would be a good fit for Patty we would love for you to come by and meet her!
