My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Rapunzel. I was found by a dog rescue on the top of their building with a newborn mini me. After many days of trying, they were finally able to secure me and my baby and bring me down from that roof to a better life. They reached out to Southern Counties Rescue for a foster and that's where I have been since. I am a very quiet and gentle kitty. I enjoy being brushed while I sit on your lap. I like to play with the ball tower and enjoy a nice view. Sunny spots are my favorite to lay in and don't mind sharing with another cat. I am good with cats but not with dogs. I may be ok with older kids but enjoy my quiet time.
If you would like more information about me please go to our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our online application.
Thanks

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
