Washi came into the shelter when her owner was no longer able to care for her.
She was uncomfortable in the shelter environment , so we placed her in a foster home where she thrived !
Her foster mom reports that while Washi was initially timid, she quickly warmed up.
She does prefer to approach you rather than the other way around and she does show some classic calico sass at times.
Washi loves her food, but she does need to lose a bit of weigh.
She does have some old injuries and will need long term pain management and losing weight will also help with this.
We think Washi would do best in a home without other pets or children.
Please come in and see me during visiting hours.
You can also submit an application online if I am in foster or you would like to save some time when you come visit. While we do welcome online applications, in person meets have top priority.
