This sweet gentle little girl is Vega. Vega, born April 1, 2024, was found hiding under a kind lady’s car. The lady was in a hurry, but she didn’t want to frighten the poor kitty into traffic, so the kind lady called HUG who came running to the rescue. Vega was very calm and walked right out when she spotted HUG’s team. As luck would have it a few days later another tabby baby showed up at a feeding station. We named him Orion. Orion, born April 18. 2024, and Vega could be twins—it was destiny! Orion and Vega are totally bonded and have been inseparable since they met so they must be adopted together. Vega and Orion are both very sweet, gentle and calm. They love to be petted and can spend hours playing with each other. If you live in Nassau, Suffolk or Queens Counties and would like to adopt two gentle, loving, playful, sweet, adorable kittens who will give you (and each other!) unconditional love, please complete HUG’s online application at http://humaneurbangroup.org/adoption-application and HUG will get back to you in two flicks of a cat’s tail. You will be so glad you did!
