My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This puppy is bursting with energy and intelligence. Mitch thrives on exercise and mental stimulation, making him an ideal companion for active families or individuals willing to engage his curious mind and tireless energy. But while he loves to run and play, his favorite activity is receiving affectionate pets, where he melts into blissful contentment in your lap. His whole world stops the second you give him love, and heandamp;#39;s the happiest boy in the world. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Mitch adores playing with other dogs but can sometimes get a bit rambunctious. He would do best with tolerant dog friends who can match his enthusiasm for play. His playful nature makes him a joy to be around, and he eagerly seeks out new furry friends for fun and games.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;This 30-pound bundle of joy would thrive in a home that provides him with both physical exercise and mental challenges to keep his sharp mind engaged. Mitch would love a family or individual who can shower him with affection and attention, appreciating his sweet and loving puppy personality.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
