My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

https://foha.org/pet/betty-2-2024/

Hi there, I'm Betty, and I'm told I'm quite the beauty queen with my stunning tri-color fur and sweet face. Meeting new people is one of my favorite things-I just can't get enough of the pets and cuddles they give me! I'm very gentle, especially when taking treats, and boy, do I love those treats!

I am a fan of going places and exploring wherever I go, whether it's an adoption event or just a quiet walk on the trails. I love riding in the car and can get in and out with ease. At adoption events, I pride myself on having impeccable manners towards people of all ages who come by to pet and chat with me.

Recently, I spent a couple days in foster care with three awesome adults. On the first day, I was a bit shy, but once I warmed up, I wanted to stay close to my new friends, relax and soak up every bit of love I could get. As a stair-stepping pro, I took the stairs without difficulty. Truth be told though, I did have a few accidents in the house, but by the second night, I slept through the night in my crate with no problem - a full 10 hours! Yay!!

I have so much love to share that sometimes I can't help but cry when people pass me by in my kennel -I just want everyone to know how much I adore them! However, when I am out and about I am so quiet that someone recently asked if I ever bark! Whoever ends up with me as their companion is in for a treat-I promise to fill your life with joy, peace and contentment.

My shelter friends will be updating my bio with more information as they get to know me even better. In the meantime, potential fosters or adopters should hurry on in to come and meet me-I'm eager to make new friends and find my forever home! Let's make some wonderful memories together!
