My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sammy and Grey are bonded Great Danes mixes. They have come a long way from the night they were found by the railroad tracks with a lot of wounds all over them. They used to be scared of every little noise including their dish moving. They were always on the lookout to see who or what was going to come at them. Now they run around and play together pretty much all day long. Because of their size they would need big area. They like to sleep in their crate. Theyandamp;#39;re not much for being apart. They are very loving dogs and every once in awhile theyandamp;#39;ll still be scared of a loud noise. Sammy likes to stand up and give big hugs. Grey will try to give you his clawed paw he has a broken pelvis, and is incontinent but heandamp;#39;s not ashamed about wearing pull-ups when he needs to go out anywhere or sleep in his crate.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
