My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Added to At-Risk list due to behavior/mental health decline: severe kennel stress, causing distress and frustration with other dogs. Must do a meet and greet or keep other pets separated and allow slow introductions while he decompresses.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Wile is a sweet, lovable boy. On a leash, Wile is a dream walking companion, showcasing excellent leash manners and a knack for staying right by your side. He does stop to give hugs when he needs one, but itandamp;#39;s hard to resist those puppy dog eyes. This well-mannered boy is a quiet presence with a quiet manner. He rarely barks and instead prefers to cuddle. He doesnandamp;#39;t mind seeing other dogs and remains calm and collected. At restaurants, he loves to lounge at your side while you eat, just enjoying the moment.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Leash trained and ever so cuddly, Wile E. Coyote is the perfect combination of a playful spirit and a laid-back companion. He also seems to be potty trained! If youandamp;#39;re in search of a canine companion who embodies sweetness, good manners, and affection, Wile E. Coyote is ready to become the loyal and loving friend youandamp;#39;ve been waiting for.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
