My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Wendyandamp;#39;s, the energetic and friendly pointer mix with a zest for life and a love for playtime!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Wendyandamp;#39;s is as lively as a drive-thru during lunch hour! This spirited girl thrives on activity and enjoys every moment of playtime, especially when it involves romping around with her furry friends. She loves toys and playing chase especially.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Wendyandamp;#39;s is a social butterfly and loves making new doggy pals. However, her enthusiasm can sometimes be a bit much for dogs who prefer a quieter atmosphere. She does best with tolerant and playful dogs who can keep up with her energy levels and appreciate her fast-paced approach to play.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Wendyandamp;#39;s would fit right into a home that values activity and social interaction. A family with a backyard for her to zoom around in and a few furry friends to share her love of play would be perfect. Just like her namesake fast food chain, Wendyandamp;#39;s is ready to bring joy and energy to her new home!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;If youandamp;#39;re looking for a dog who brings a bundle of energy and a side of fun to your life, Wendyandamp;#39;s is the perfect choice. Come meet her and see why sheandamp;#39;s not just a dog, but a delightful companion who will spice up your days with her playful spirit!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
