My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This lovely boy is as calm and friendly as they come, with a heart of gold thatandamp;#39;s just waiting to be discovered. Wallace is a social butterfly who thrives on outdoor adventures and making new friends. Whether itandamp;#39;s exploring nature trails or simply lounging in the sunshine, Wallace is always up for a good time. Wallace is a professional cuddler who knows just how to melt your stress away.While Wallace may initially come off as sensitive and shy, all it takes is a little time and baby talk to win him over. He takes treats with the utmost care and adores chest rubs like nobodyandamp;#39;s business. One of the things that best helped Wallace overcome his shyness is his roommate! He does great with other dogs and is a super good boy who approaches every interaction with kindness and grace.andlt;br/andgt;

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
