My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, gather 'round and meet the party animal of the canine world – it's Eddie, the 16 month-old Great Pyrenees/Lab mix with a zest for life that'll make your head spin (in the best way possible)!

Eddie isn't your average rescue dog; he's a dynamo of fun wrapped in fur. At 70 pounds, this pup is a perfect blend of mischief and charm, with a coat that's basically a canvas for adventure. Imagine having your own live-in entertainer – that's Eddie for you!

Crates are usually for chilling, but not for Eddie. His crate is his personal retreat, his superhero lair where he hatches plans for the next epic playtime. Speaking of play, Eddie is the undisputed champion of fetch, tug-of-war, and "I-can-run-faster-than-you" competitions. He's a canine athlete in the making, with the energy to match. Run, Eddie, run!!

Social butterfly? Oh, you betcha! Eddie is the ultimate doggy diplomat, making fast friends with anyone who has a wagging tail. He's a one-dog carnival, spreading joy wherever he goes.

If you're looking for a furry co-conspirator in the grand circus of life, Eddie is your guy. He's not just a rescue dog; he's your ticket to a lifetime of belly laughs, tail-chasing escapades, and a companionship that'll put a smile on your face every single day. Step right up and welcome Eddie into your heart – the fun never stops with this four-legged sensation! 🎉🐾

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

I am located east of Dallas, and I have adopted furkids out to places as far away as Connecticut. I make every effort to provide video of the furkid you are interested in, and I provide all pertinent information about personality and hometraining as well. Our kiddos are all fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.

More about this rescue

ARRS has been my dream. We purchased our home and land with rescue and senior sanctuary in mind. We provide senior sanctuary to all breeds and primarily rescue dachshunds and dachshund mixes to place for adoption. It amazing to see the life return to a previously neglected dog's eyes or see her tail wag for the first time. We often have a dog for months before the dog comes out of survival mode and begins to play and actively seek affection. It's quite simply amazing and heartwarming. Be a part of that miracle. Adopt!!!
