My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Hey there, fabulous humans! I'm Holmes, the Treeing Walker Coonhound sensation you've been waiting for. Picture this: a 2-year-old heartthrob with a coat so sleek and a demeanor so cool, you'll swear I just stepped off the pages of GQ – especially when I'm rocking a snazzy sweater (cue the runway music).

But hey, it's not all about looks, although I do admit I'm pretty darn handsome. I'm the kind of pup who's got the whole package – brains, charm, and an irresistible sweetness that'll make your heart skip a beat. Trust me, you won't be able to resist my charm offensive!

Let's talk talents, shall we? I'm not just a pretty face; I'm a canine genius. Training? Nailed it. Crate and house trained? Absolutely – not a puddle or chewed shoe in sight! I'm the gentleman of your dreams, and I play nice with everyone – dogs, cats, you name it.

Now, let's address the elephant in the room – my modeling potential. Slip a sweater on me, and bam! I transform into a cover-worthy sensation. But here's the kicker – I'm not just about looking good. I've got a heart as big as my dreams, and I'm ready to share it with you.

So, if you're on the hunt for a doggy sidekick who's not only drop-dead gorgeous but also smart, chill, and an all-around awesome dude, guess what? You've found him. I'm Holmes, the ultimate canine companion, and I'm ready to turn your world upside down – in the best possible way. Let's make some magic together! 🌟🐶❤️

Go meet their pets

I am located east of Dallas, and I have adopted furkids out to places as far away as Connecticut. I make every effort to provide video of the furkid you are interested in, and I provide all pertinent information about personality and hometraining as well. Our kiddos are all fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.

More about this rescue

ARRS has been my dream. We purchased our home and land with rescue and senior sanctuary in mind. We provide senior sanctuary to all breeds and primarily rescue dachshunds and dachshund mixes to place for adoption. It amazing to see the life return to a previously neglected dog's eyes or see her tail wag for the first time. We often have a dog for months before the dog comes out of survival mode and begins to play and actively seek affection. It's quite simply amazing and heartwarming. Be a part of that miracle. Adopt!!!
