My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Butter is a lively and spirited young Boxer who loves nothing more than running and playing. Her boundless energy makes her a perfect companion for active families or individuals who enjoy outdoor activities and playtime. She adores romping around with other dogs and is always up for making new furry friends.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;This active girl thrives on physical exercise and would benefit from a home with plenty of space to run and play. We recommend a home with tall fences to ensure she has a safe and secure environment to explore her playful nature.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Butter is incredibly friendly and loves interacting with people and other dogs. Her sociable nature makes her a joy to be around, and she eagerly welcomes attention and affection from everyone she meets.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Butter would flourish in a home that appreciates her energetic personality and can provide her with the exercise and mental stimulation she needs. A family or individual who enjoys outdoor activities, such as running or hiking, would be perfect for this spirited Boxer girl.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
