My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy, folks! Nameandamp;#39;s Bandit, and I reckon Iandamp;#39;m the sweetest lil outlaw yandamp;#39;all ever did meet. Now, I might be a bit shy at first, like a tumbleweed in a ghost town, but give me some time, and Iandamp;#39;ll be stickinandamp;#39; to you like a trusty olandamp;#39; sidekick.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;In the kennel, I might put on a big show, actinandamp;#39; all scared and tough like those folks who push others away so they donandamp;#39;t get hurt. Truth is, Iandamp;#39;m just a soft-hearted fella whoandamp;#39;s a bit scared of the world. Give me some time and a safe space, and youandamp;#39;ll see my true colors.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;m a gentle soul, always lookinandamp;#39; for some cuddles, a good walk, or a belly rub thatandamp;#39;ll make me wag my tail faster than a rattlesnake in a dust storm. Donandamp;#39;t let my timid nature fool ya; once I get to know ya, Iandamp;#39;ll be your loyal companion through thick and thin.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;m a proper gentleman on the leash, and I get along mighty fine with other dogs. What I need is a bit more confidence, and with a lil bit of patience and love, Iandamp;#39;ll be as as fearless as a stallion runninandamp;#39; wild and free.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;So, if youandamp;#39;re lookinandamp;#39; for a sweet, cuddly partner whoandamp;#39;s ready to steal your heart, come meet me, Bandit, and letandamp;#39;s ride into the sunset together. I promise, you wonandamp;#39;t regret it!

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
