Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there, I`m Zsa Zsa and I am 1 year old. I am a pretty torbie girl who came to TAPS from a humane society not too far away. I came with my siblings who have since been adopted,,all but me. You see, I was a little shier and more independent when I got here as well as afraid. I have been living in a great foster home and am doing so well! I get to sleep with one of the daughters! I love being petted but am not fond of being picked up. I am really a sweet, gentle lovebug when given the opportunity. I will even sit on your lap! I also really enjoy dangly feather toys and a good cat tree to scratch and climb! If you have the patience and heart, please fill out that online application and give me a meet. My foster mom would be glad to talk to you and answer any questions about me! She promises I am worth it!!

TAPS-Tazewell Animal Protective Society was founded in 1958 in Pekin Illinois in a building donated by the City of Pekin on River Road. In 1979, rapidly rising river water forced the evacuation of the animals. Once again, the City of Pekin stepped in and donated a building for the animals. Several moves later, and with the help and generosity of many volunteers and community members, TAPS now has a new home at 100 TAPS Lane. Last year we celebrated 50 year of caring for the homeless animals of Central Illinois.
