My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Matilda, a charming 4-year-old Pitbull with a heart as big as her affectionate personality. Matilda is a social butterfly, quickly winning over the hearts of everyone she meets with her friendliness and warm nature. Her love for head pets knows no bounds, and she thrives in the company of humans. Matilda is a loving and patient dog, making her an ideal companion for those who appreciate the gentle and caring demeanor she brings. While she may need some time to warm up to other dogs, a meet-and-greet is the perfect opportunity to showcase her social and fun-loving side. With a leash-trained and outdoors-loving spirit, Matilda is ready to bring joy and companionship to her forever home.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Conoce a Matilda, una encantadora Pitbull de 4 años con un corazón tan grande como su afectuosa personalidad. Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
