Hey, it's Chevy here and I would like to tell you about myself. I have been in foster care for a few months now where I have learned a lot from my foster parents and their resident dog! I am good with kids, other dogs as long as a proper introduction is done, but unfortunately I don't want any kitty friends. I also am housebroken! I have all my vet care done, I am up to date on shots, microchipped, and spayed. I do know how to walk nicely on a leash plus I don't run off when I am on my foster family's property without a leash on. I respond to my name and I will sit and stay when asked. My foster mom also thinks I am not barky! I love car rides and being on the boat however I do not enjoy getting in the water. I enjoy getting up on the couch at my foster home however I settle down in my own bed. I am a very playful ball of energy who will give all the kisses you could ever want. Additional adoption info

Stray Haven requires an in-person visit with our adoptable pets and completion of the adoption application. Our standard adoption donation is $225 for adult dogs, $275 for puppies, and $100 for cats, and $120 for kittens. All adoption packages and specials include up-to-date vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.

Since 1967, Stray Haven has served Tioga County, NY and neighboring communities, providing shelter and care for homeless animals. Today we continue to offer many services with the generous support of the public, including pet adoptions, spay/neuter programs, dog obedience classes, pet therapy, cruelty investigations, humane education, children’s outreach programs and rewarding volunteer opportunities.
