My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Cooper: The Old Soul Waiting for His Forever Home! 🐾
Cooper is a 2-3 year old gentle boy who has quickly become one of the most beloved dogs at our shelter. His calm demeanor and impeccable manners make him a joy to be around. Cooper rarely jumps up unless invited and is always mindful of those around him.
Not only is Cooper incredibly sweet, but he's also one of the smartest pups we've ever met! During his time here, he’s mastered sit, down, and shake—and he’s always eager to show off his skills, especially if there’s a treat involved. Cooper is both food and praise motivated, making training a breeze.
When it comes to walks, Cooper is a dream! He walks gently on the leash, never pulling, which makes him a safe and enjoyable companion for walkers of all ages. He gets along well with other dogs, though he considers himself quite the ladies' man! While we’re unsure how Cooper would react to chickens or cats, we believe that with patience and proper introductions, he could coexist happily with feline friends.
Cooper has never met a stranger and loves getting pets from anyone willing to give them. He’s been around children ages 4-18 and has always remained his well-natured, well-mannered self. We believe Cooper would fit perfectly into any loving home.
If you’re interested in giving this amazing boy his forever home, please message us on Facebook or call/text us at 256-960-1408!
