My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Yoda: Your Future Furry Friend! 🐾
Yoda, a 4-5 month old lab mix puppy, is still waiting for his forever home! This adorable pup came to the shelter scared, starved, and filthy, but today, this chunky boy is outgoing, crazy about cuddles, and can smell cookies from a mile away! The only thing missing in Yoda’s life is a loving home to call his own.
Yoda is a smart boy who picks up on things quickly, especially with a little treat motivation! He is by far the lap dog of his group and would love a home where he can have a permanent spot on the couch, bed, and lap, soaking up all the pets he deserves.
Yoda does well on the leash and now needs very little reassurance on his walks. However, he prefers short and sweet strolls because he'd rather be sitting and getting pets than walking! Yoda enjoys playgroup, but he sometimes needs a reminder that there are other fun activities besides sitting in the shade and getting pets.
Yoda is good at sharing his toys but has decided that his food is his food. He will need some help overcoming his food resource guarding issues. This is no fault of his own and is merely a product of his unfortunate circumstances before coming to the shelter. It would be best if he were fed separately from other animals, and small children should be mindful during his mealtime.
Yoda is great with kids of all ages and usually on his best behavior when it comes to jumping up. He is also a pro at bath time and always sits politely while staff trims his nails!
