My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lotus, a beautiful male kitten ready for his forever home. Lotus loves to lounge on his cat trees, observing the world with his bright eyes. When he's not relaxing, he enjoys playing with his toys, especially ones that make noise or move. With his calm demeanor and playful spirit, Lotus is the perfect mix of affectionate and fun-loving. If you're looking for a sweet and charming companion, Lotus is the kitten for you. Adopt Lotus and add a touch of joy to your life.

Lotus' adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, Rabies vaccine, 2 FVRCP vaccines, FIV/FeLV combo test and up to date on flea/tick preventative.

If you are interested in pre-adopting Lotus, you may fill out an application at www.tlchs.org or you are welcome to make a Match Making appointment to come out and meet him first. We are open Tuesday - Sunday 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Go meet their pets

We do adoptions on the square in Dahlonega most weekends, attend various local events, have annual fundraisers, and our animals can be seen at the shelter any day from 10:00 - 4:30 (an hour for lunch from 12:00-1:00). Come by and see the new changes at the shelter as well, ask to volunteer, or just introduce yourself and meet the wonderful staff members.

More about this shelter

Established in 1977, TLC is one of the oldest no-kill shelters in North Georgia. Our shelter is on about six acres near the Lumpkin County shelter, and about five miles east of Dahlonega. Our focus is saving as many homeless pets as we can, and preventing the birth of unwanted pets. We have always relied on private donations to care for as many animals as we can.
