My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet pretty girl Maya!

This very sweet girl is estimated to be about 7 years old and is 47 pounds. Unfortunately not much is known about her life most of those years, but from what we can gather they weren’t the happiest. She wound up in the shelter and was labeled as being one of the saddest and most ignored dogs there. That is, until the most wonderful couple found her, fell in love, and adopted her. Last fall her life turned around and she knew love, safety, and comfort with the most amazing family. She had a new dog brother who she learned to adore and finally had a home of her own.

Sadly, Maya has shown she cannot be in a home with cats and, due to this, needs to find a new forever home. Her family is heartbroken but this is the best thing for her. She has learned love and has healed physically and emotionally from the harder years of her life. Now this sweet lady needs one final forever home to live out her days.

Maya enjoys a simple life of relaxing outside and soaking up love! She is a wonderful companion and would make an amazing addition to any home, without small pets, who wants to love her for the rest of her days.
