My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Elliott and I have such a sad story to tell. I was left behind with some of my other bunny friends (approx. 20) when my previous family left in the middle of the night. Our conditions were less than ideal, and we had no food, water or hay. There were other species of animals as well, but animal control said they could not take us. We were all worried until several rabbit rescues worked together to get us all out of that situation.

I along with two other buns (Calvin & Kiki) made our way to this rescue and wow am I enjoying the indoor life with air conditioning and clean housing!!! I have now been seen by a vet and neutered and given a clean bill of health. I weigh 3 1/2 lbs and I am full grown. We believe I am a cross between a Jersey Wooley and a Lionhead. I am now learning how to use my litterbox and my foster mom says I seem to be a fast learner. Since I am used to other buns, I may be a great bonding candidate for any spayed females searching for a friend.

I am eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Rabbit Pellets, timothy hay and a big bowl of fresh water that my foster mom changes daily. I love my daily salad of things like romaine, carrot tops and parsley. Please do not forget my treats...apple chunks, banana, blueberries even strawberries. Does my tummy a yum!!!

Would you consider opening your heart and home to a sweet guy like me?

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
