My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NAME:
JACKSON

STATS:
Male, Pyrenees Mix, 5.5 years, 110 lbs.

TEMPERAMENT:
Friendly.
Playful, but not overly so.

SKILLS
Potty trained.
Crate trained.
Leash trained.
Good with children.
Good with dogs.
Would make a great hiking buddy.

MORE ABOUT ME:
Likes belly rubs.
Couch cuddler.
Likes walks.
Likes playing with other dogs.
BREED needs air conditioning.
EXPERIENCED/large breed savvy owners required.

ONE LAST THING:
Jackson is a BIG LOVEABLE guy who needs a little room and an escape-proof yard. He is currently located on a working ranch, but has figured out how to escape as people come and go through the electric gate. He's great with other dogs (but funnily enough is teaching THEM to escape), so again, that escape-proof yard is needed. He's also great with kids, but no cats, please. He's very smart and would benefit from the attention through training. If you have it in your heart to take on the biggest heart out there, fill out an app for Jackson!

More about this rescue

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned, abused, stray and neglected animals, primarily from high-kill shelters. We collaborate with other rescue groups and animal shelters to improve the lives of animals at risk for euthanisia. We work to provide solutions which seek to end the animal over-population and educate people to be responsible pet owners and "fur-ever guardians."
