My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Calvin, and I came from a really horrible hoarding situation. I along with about 20 other buns were left behind in an outside shed when our previous owners moved. There were several other species of animals as well, but animal control said they could not take the rabbits and we were all left behind.

Thankfully several rabbit rescues joined together to make sure we were all removed and found placement. I am a gorgeous rex breed of bun which means I have the softest fur you will ever feel. After all I have been through I am still a gentle, sweet and very quiet bun. I love living indoors with heat and air conditioning and being pampered.

I have been neutered since I arrived and have a clean bill of health. I have wonderful litterbox habits and am making up for lost time eating everything that is given to me. I am especially loving all the timothy hay I am given which is great since that should make up a major portion of my diet. I am full grown and probably no older then 2 years of age. I would also make a great bonding bun for any spayed females searching for a bond mate.

I am eating a proper rabbit diet of Oxbow Adult Timothy Pellets, lots of timothy hay, a big bowl of fresh water and my daily salads of romaine, parsley, carrot tops and other yummy goodies. It is all new to me so I am enjoying learning what I do and do not care for.
