My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rip is a 2.5 year old purebred Ragdoll that found his way to The Cat Lounge because of health complications his owner endured, leading to the decision to find him a new home. Rip is a social, friendly and snuggly boy! He does have a tendency to overeat so monitored feeding are key. Rip plays HARD. He loves his toys and will play until he is panting. We're curious to see how he will do with other cats and whether a home with another cat that can keep up with his energy would be in his best interest! Rip's high energy and tendency to get overstimulated (shown by sudden biting and scratching behavior, especially during playtime) is something to be considered before bringing him into your home! Because Rip is a Ragdoll that requires special care due to his breed, and in order to cover the costs of our other rescues that are in desperate need of medical care, his adoption fee is $800. We understand that this is higher than the standard fee and may not be the best fit for everyone.

Submit Application

Find a cat online that catches your eye? Send an inquiry to fill out an application. We respond to all emails within 24 hours!

2.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once pre-approve, come visit them at our location! No appointment is needed and adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.

3.
Pay Fee

Perfect fit? Sign our adoption contract to make them your new fur baby and pay an adoption fee. You can take them home same day!

Additional adoption info

All of our applications are subject to approval and are on a first come, first serve basis. Not being approved does not mean you won't provide a good home - it just might not be the best home for this particular kitty.
