Luna McTwisp and a friend (Summer Bunny) were abandoned at a downtown San Jose construction site in July 2023. They managed to survive for many months before Luna was rescued in March 2024. Luna is intensely curious, highly intelligent, and...FAST. She is athletic and needs lots of space to run and play. She requires mental stimulation and physical activity – toys, toys, toys! She enjoys the company of other rabbits and would likely do well as a bonded rabbit. She can be comical at times and is a real sweetheart. She would do best with a patient human being who understands the trauma she has been through. For adoption/foster inquiries and more information about this rabbit, contact shelter rabbit specialist Cheryl at 408-621-3773. She offers free foster/adoption support and care counseling.
