He has the typical 4-month old puppy playful personality, but is very calm and wants to please his person. John B loves to explore by taking walks and enjoys meeting new critters. He spends his days running around with his 2 doggy pals and a kitten, and spends his nights napping on his favorite blanket or with his foster family. John B has proven to be easily trainable and is already potty-trained certified! Hes adjusted quite well to his new foster home, where he waits for his new parents to yell Come on home Bird! SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area.
