My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

John B is an all-around fun loving puppy. He loves to play with his siblings and with toys. He really enjoys being in the lap of anyone that will snuggle with him. John B is working on crate/kennel training, going potty outside and coming when called and is doing great with all of them. He will make a great companion and best friend! John B will complete his vet care in mid- July. Certain adopters may be eligible to foster-to-adopt John B and bring him home sooner. You can inquire about foster-to-adopt at adoptions@savedbyfate.org If you're interested in adopting John B, please submit an adoption application and we'll be in touch ASAP! His adoption fee is $300. A meet with any approved applicant's current pets would be required before starting the 2-week adoption trial period. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Additional adoption info

SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

More about this rescue

Saved by Fate is a dog rescue organization in Central Kentucky that specializes in pulling dogs at high risk of euthanasia from Kentucky shelters. SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area. SBF is an entirely foster and volunteer based organization that does not have a physical location or kennel at this time.
