Meet Pot Roast, a sweet senior Yorkie mix who has faced some tough times and is now in need of a loving home to cherish him in his golden years. This little guy arrived at our rescue terribly matted and neglected, the result of his previous guardian’s dementia. Without any relatives to take him in, Pot Roast landed in our care, where he’s been nothing but a sweetheart. He’s great with cats and other small, calm dogs, and with a regular routine, he’s very good about going potty outside. Pot Roast has a gentle, affectionate nature that shines through despite his hardships. He’s looking for a compassionate and caring family to give him the warmth and love he so deserves. If you have room in your heart and home, Pot Roast is ready to be your loyal companion.

Famous Fido was founded by Gloria Lissner who has been independently rescuing dogs from the death rows of kill shelters since 1975. She officially opened Famous Fido Rescue & Adoption Alliance in July 2010. All our dogs recieve the necessary vet care and treatment is never refused. Famous Fido has developed a full merchandise line, starting with our all natural dog treats to support our rescue efforts. Our products are available for purchase on our website. The mission of FFRAA is to form an alliance with similar organizations to increase community awareness, public consciences and create a No Kill Nation.
