Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A bit about Cooper’s backstory: Cooper was essentially left behind by his old owners with their neighbors along with 2 other dogs from their home. While with his original owners, he lived inside and was potty trained. ? His new caretakers, however, already had multiple dogs prior to taking on these 3, so needless to say the family was very overwhelmed and reached out to us for help. He was living with his secondary caretakers for about a year before they successfully found someone (us) to help. Cooper has most recently been living outside for the past year with basic care only (food and water) but no monthly preventatives and likely no baths. He is about 20 lbs overweight currently ? (weighing in around 80lb) so we will be working on that while we have him too!
He did wonderful during his grooming appointment and required 4 consecutive baths and a complete shave to get off the mats, dirt, and ticks! ? He is absolutely the sweetest goober ever and he knows how to sit, lay down, and shake!! ? He’s got a cute little wiggle butt and beautiful coat under all that grime. We think he is an Australian Shepherd mix and we are hoping that he still remembers his potty training from his previous home! So far, he’s done great using the doggie door to go potty outside in our kennels! He is already neutered and has undergone treatment for 2 types of fecal worms! He has now tested negative and is ready for adoption!
He miraculously tested negative for Heartworms but he will need to be re-tested in 6 months by his adopters (or us if he is still with us at the rescue in 6 months) to ensure this doesn’t change!
Microchipped, UTD on shots and preventatives.
