Candace is a like a big hunka deliciousness wrapped in a Vizsla mix body who has endless amounts of love to offer and velcro-ing to do with her lucky furever people. Candance is an adult gal who weighs about 50 lbs full grown. Having arrived to this new place pretty unsure abut everything, she has been nothing but silly fun though a bit coy at first. Settling in has not been difficult and now she is just silly fun with a lot of love mixed in there. Candace does wonderfully with other dogs, is great in her crate and would love an adoring family that she can adore right back. She has already learned lots of things at the farm and would be great with a family who will help her build more confidence with time and experience as she still does not quite realize how awesome she really is! Candace is simply a gem waiting to be found!
**Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "She loves the water. First one in the lake, last one out! She was very friendly with both the dogs and the people in our group today. She was quite polite with other hikers we met on the trail. She is a lover and appreciates the good times"!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccines, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! More about this rescue

Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.

We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption.
