My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Wasabi, the charismatic 7-month-old pitbull mix who's brimming with personality and energy, ready to charm his way into your heart!

Wasabi absolutely loves the company of other dogs and thrives in their playful presence. If you have other four-legged friends at home, a meet-and-greet would be perfect to ensure everyone gets along swimmingly.

This little bundle of joy is bursting with enthusiasm and enjoys staying active. He's looking for a home without children because his exuberance can be a bit too much during playtime. Additionally, he's not suited for a household with cats due to his playful nature.

Wasabi is high-energy and would thrive with a family who can keep up with his zest for life. While a fenced yard would be ideal for him to safely explore and burn off his energy, regular exercise and mental stimulation are key to keeping him happy and healthy.

If you're ready to take on the challenge of keeping up with Wasabi's playful antics and giving him the love and attention he craves, he promises to reward you with endless cuddles, loyalty, and a lifetime of joyful moments. Come meet Wasabi today and discover why he's the perfect addition to your family! 🐶

Additional adoption info

Find the pet for you at the Adoption Center:
Angels of Assisi’s adoption center is open from 12-6pm, 7 days a week. Adoption Specialists and Volunteer Ambassadors are eager to help you find the pet that would fit best in your family.

Adoptable Pets in Foster Homes:
Some of our available pets are currently in foster homes. If an animal is currently in a foster home, it is noted in the animal's biography online. To meet a pet in foster care, please fill out a non-binding adoption application, and the foster parent will contact you to schedule a meet and greet once the application has been approved (generally within 24 hours).

Found the perfect addition to your family? Now what?
The next step is to fill out an adoption application. You can complete and application online (preferred) or stop by the adoption center to fill out a paper application. Adopters must be 18 years of age or older. If you rent your home, we will need to contact your landlord or see a copy of your lease to verify the pet policy. Most applications can be approved within 24-48 hours.

Taking Your New Pet Home
After paying the adoption fee and pending the approval of your application, you may take your new pet home immediately. Adoption fees may vary and can be found on our website at:
