MEET ANGELICA!

This sweet pittie girl is appropriately named Angelica (or Angel as her foster family calls her)! She joined City of Elderly Love from Philly's animal control shelter after being picked up as a stray. Angelica is around 8 years old and the perfect blend of loving, fun and chill.

We like to refer to Angel as a Cinnamon Bun in dog form. She has a beautiful honey colored brindle coat with soulful eyes and is just as sweet. Once you're Angel's friend, she'll be your very *best* friend. She's super snuggly and loves spending time with her foster family. Angel is currently in foster care with older children, other dogs and a cat! She adores her human friends and has bonded well with her animal housemates.

She is looking for a forever family who will work with her to build confidence and sharpen her leash skills. Angel can be leash reactive while on walks and in busy settings and is nervous while meeting new people. She has an intimidating bark at these times and needs some reassurance from her handler. Angelica is the type of dog who would love to keep her world small. She's not the type who needs to go out on lots of adventures, go to a dog park, or have frequent visits with friends. She'd love a quiet life with a low-key family who will cherish the hidden gem that she is.
